Who is Adrienne? Well, thank you for asking!

Adrienne Blake was born in London, which means she grew up with grey skies, strong tea, and an absolutely unreasonable number of opinions about Jane Austen. She now lives in Pennsylvania, where the skies are slightly less grey but the tea opinions remain fierce.

A USA Today Bestselling Author, Adrienne has never been able to stay in one genre for long, which is either a creative superpower or a chronic condition, depending on who you ask. Her heart belongs firmly to the paranormal, where the rules of polite society can be gleefully ignored, and Mr. Darcy can absolutely be a warlock if she says so.

Her latest obsession is the Crimson Veil Series — paranormal retellings of Jane Austen's novels set in a contemporary world where vampires attend society weddings, demons run security start-ups, and the binding magic you walked away from has a very long memory. The first book, Demon Persuasion — a retelling of Persuasion — is coming soon.

When she isn't giving literary heroines supernatural powers and considerably more fangs, she's finding new and inventive ways to put them in danger. Her backlist includes the Souls and Shadows series, the Misty Cedars cozy paranormal series, and standalone stories that refused to fit neatly anywhere — because the best ones never do.

The furry crime scene investigator glaring at you from the other photo is MacGuffin. He has never solved a case, but he has knocked several off the desk, which he considers close enough.
